Donations

Donation of Artwork
The City of Burlington is committed to maintaining a high calibre  program of public artworks.  Artwork donated to the City must fit with the guiding principles of the Public Art Master Plan (PAMP).  As such, specific aesthetic and technical criteria must be met and all proposed donations will be reviewed by an independent jury. The first step in the donation process is to submit a Public Art Donation Form.

Funding Donations
Funding donations from both the public and private sector are accepted into the Public Art Reserve Fund. Donations must be free and clear of conditions and restrictions imposed by the donors regarding the City’s use of these funds for the City of Burlington’s Public Art Program.

Volunteer Opportunities
All artwork commissioned through the Public Art Program are selected by a volunteer jury consisting of professional artists, technical experts and Burlington community members.  If you would like to be considered for future public art jury positions, please contact publicart@burlington.ca
